U.S. Flags

At Sunward Flag we carry two top-of-the-line, extremely durable types of flags: the All-Weather SOLARMAX®  Nylon flag and the 2-Ply Spun Woven Polyester. All flags are finished with either a canvas header and brass grommets or canvas header with galvanized metal thimbles and roped heading for flags 8’ x12’ and larger.

The All-Weather SOLARMAX® Nylon flag is constructed from the longest-lasting nylon flag material available. 

• Sewn stripes and embroidered stars standard on all flags through 8’ x 12,’ appliqued stars for flags 8’ x 12’ and larger
• All seams double-stitched with fly ends sewn with either 4 or 6 rows of double stitching
• Dense 200 denier nylon enables these flags to fly in the lightest breeze

The 2-Ply Spun Woven Polyester fabric is the longest-lasting flag material made, which makes it an ideal selection for commercial, industrial and institutional uses.

California Flags

Our California State flags are available in the two most durable flag materials: Solarmax nylon and 2-Ply Polyester weave.  When flying a California flag with a U.S. flag, it is customary for it to be the same or one size smaller than the U.S. flag.  Be sure to match the materials as it looks better and flies more consistently.

Expertly crafted from long-lasting 200 denier Solarmax nylon, treated to resist sun deterioration. A special dye process ensures exacting accuracy in the design and brilliant fast colors. These flags are extremely durable and quick drying. All of the state flags are finished with a durable white canvas header and brass grommets.

The 2-Ply Polyester fabric is recognized as the most durable of all flag fabrics.  Its open weave reduces wind resistance, thereby increasing flag life.  This fabric is Ideal for commercial, industrial and institutional uses.

Military Flags

Our 200 denier Solarmax nylon military flags are dyed in brilliant colors, are finished with header and brass grommets and reinforced fly ends for displaying outdoors.  The 3’x5’ and 4’x6’ sized flags are also available in long-wearing 2-ply polyester. Larger sizes and embroidered versions are also available by request.

Indoor Presentation/Parade Flag Sets

The Indoor U.S. Presentation/Parade Flag Set includes a 3’x5’ Nylon U.S. flag with embroidered stars and sewn stripes with leather tabs and gold fringe.

Also included is an 8’, two-piece, dark oak pole with brass screw joint and gold-anodized floor stand. The pole is topped with a brass-plated metal eagle ornament, and it includes a gold cord and tassel.
