At Sunward Flag we carry two top of the line, very durable types of flags. The All Weather Solarmax Nylon flag is constructed with embroidered stars, sewn stripes and reinforced fly ends. It combines lustrous beauty with superior wearing ability and excellent fly ability. Sewn from 200 Denier 3.2 oz bright Dupont nylon, these flags are the lightest weight flag and ideal for lighter winds. All flags are constructed with a canvas header and brass grommets to reinforce the points of wear.
We carry California Flags that are expertly crafted from long-lasting 200 denier Solar Max Nylon that is specially treated to resist sun deterioration. A special dye process ensures exacting accuracy in the design and brilliant fast colors. These flags are extremely durable and quick drying. All of the state flags are finished with a durable white canvas header and brass grommets.

The 2-Ply Polyester Weave flag is the longest lasting flag material made. The woven, 2-Ply spun polyester material is the most wear resistant flag made. Embroidered stars, sewn stripes and reinforced fly ends and grommets combine to give this flag extra durability for higher wind conditions. It is an excellent choice when you need a flag with optimum resilience to wind and weather.
What size flag do I need?
The length of the flag should be approximately one quarter of the height of the flagpole. For example you would need a 3' x 5' flag for a 20' flagpole. Similarly, a 4' x '5 flag would be in good proportion for a 25' pole. When flying a second flag below the US flag, it should be one size smaller than the US flag.
